JK's been all in my face (ok, it was really just one little chat message) about not blogging yesterday. I suppose that I deserve it because I've been nagging him about going to see the doctor about his cough. WARNING TO JK: You now have until the end of the day to reschedule your appointment.

Lots of changes have been going on at work. Some areas of my department have been moved to other departments, there were a few layoffs and I've assumed all administrative duties for the CFO. Previously, I shared a double-sized cube with my supervisor, who was his main assistant. She's focused on other projects now, so she's relocated to another area and I've moved all of my things into her old half of the cube, which is more visible to people looking for the CFO. So far, I'm enjoying the change - it's nice to shake things up sometimes and I was ready to take on some more responsibilities.

Yesterday, I invited the gals (thanks for the term, JG) from my movie club to come over in a couple of weeks to watch Say Anything. They all seem really excited about it, but I was surprised to learn that many of them haven't seen the movie before. Say Anything is one of the quintessential chick flicks of the 80's. For all of you Say Anything fans, did you know that Jennifer Connolley was almost cast as Diane Court. I think she could have pulled it off, but the movie would not have been the same if Kirk Cameron or Robert Downey Jr. (who were both considered) was cast as Lloyd Dobler.

All of my goodies from Delia's have arrived and I can't wait to put them to use. None of them are exactly work appropriate, so I'll probably have to save them for the weekend.
