YESTERDAY (AND FURTHER BACK)

I don't have too much news from the weekend to report. I got some things (not enough, never enough) done around the apartment and caught up on the backlog on the DVR. Now, I just need to get JR to watch or delete some of the myriad of poker/blackjack shows that are quickly bogging down the DVR. He probably has enough saved at this point to watch for five days straight.

I've been doing some shopping at Trader Joe's lately, since it's the closets grocery store to our new apartment, and we are still sans car. This morning I consumed my first bowl of Trader Joes Yogurt O's, which is their version of Yougurt Burst Cheerios. It was pretty good, but the o's were a lot thicker and pretty crunchy. I'm hoping all of that roughage will be good for my stomach. Speaking of roughage, did you know that my dad eats kiwi with the skin on? I don't know anyone else who does that.

DAILY SUGGESTION

Try some red pepper spread. We bought some at Trader Joe's when J and G visited, but I'm sure you can find it at your local grocery store. We ate it with mini pitas, but the jar says you can put it on anything you like.

WHAT'S NEW

I added my review of Our Lady of the Forest to the reading page. I now know why it was only $5 at the bookstore.

Have you tried the cheerio fruit loops? They are awesome, and I think they are even healthier than the yogurt cheerios. COMMENTS RULE!

I haven't seen those! I'm limited to what I can get from peapod.com and Trader Joe's. Once we get the car and I can go to the regular grocery store again, I'll keep my eyes open because they sound tasty!
