Today should be pretty exciting. Two things are happening that don't happen every day:
1. JR is meeting me for lunch at Elephant & Castle
2. Our friend JK is coming to visit for the weekend
Plus, Monday is a holiday so things are looking good at the moment. I'm trying to get into my new book, Kafka at the Shore, but it's a little too aloof for my mood at the moment. Switch books or power through? I'm not sure at this point.
I've had a busy mailing week, with lots of outgoing books to paperbackswap members. It feels good to rack up the credits and clear off my shelves at the same time. I decided to be a little more realistic about which books to keep. If I love a book or if it has a special binding then it can stay, otherwise I'm listing it on paperbackswap.com. Hopefully, I'll have a lot less books to move this spring.
We've been getting a lot of positive feedback about our decision to move, which isn't really surprising, but nice to hear. We managed to get JR's Ohio application sent in; hopefully it will be processed in time. Once he starts back to classes next week, we can start to make more solid plans about the timing of move. There's so much to think about!
I signed up for Blockbuster online to help me with my movie project. 2 movies down, 98 to go!
