And the winner is...

A few weeks ago, I got a haircut. I've had my hair this length before, but something about this particular cut seems to work well with my waves. As I was leaving work today, an older guy who was waiting for help from the Payroll receptionist said hello. After I returned his greeting, he said "You're a beautiful girl!" He said it with such emphasis, I felt like I won an award. So here's my acceptance speech:

I'd like to thank my parents, for giving me good genes. Thanks to the wonderful Leland, my hairdresser, for the great cut. Thank you to Mags, the cosmetics expert at Sephora, who created my "look". Thank you to the good people at Little Debbie for inventing the Fudge Round - I hate those extra pounds on my butt, but they look great on my face. Thank to Paula, at Paula's Beauty Bulletin, for recommending the new CoverGirl TruBlend Whipped Foundation - I love it twice as much as my old Clinique foundation and it costs half as much, which makes it four times as good! And finally, thanks to the fashion designers at H&M, who created this lovely brown cowl neck sweater, which is both cozy and cute.
