As you can guess from the title, I have a little problem with Cheetos. I love them. One Cheeto is never enough. Once my mouth gets the taste of of that powdery cheese goodness, I must consume them until they are all annihilated.
Tuesday, I came home from work and decided to have a snack and read a little before I started cleaning the bathrooms. Since I know better than to trust myself with a full bag of Cheetos, I've been buying the 100 calorie packs. The problem is, one pack just wasn't enough. There are five packs in the box. If you can see where this story is headed, you will know that I consumed five packs (500 calories!) of Cheetos in a single day.
Clearly Cheetos are a trigger food for me and I should avoid them at all costs. Unfortunately, I just went to the grocery store, so I have two more boxes of Cheetos at home. Can I maintain the willpower to eat no more than one pack a day? I don't know. I managed to only have one yesterday, but there's no telling when my resolve will break down again.
UPDATE: After I ate my lunch today, I headed out to run errands. This would have been the perfect opportunity to purchase an additional snack bag of Cheetos, but I stayed strong.
