Restless

I'm feeling a little restless today, as you can probably tell from the fact that I've changed my blog template yet again. I suppose if I were to do some self-analysis, it's pretty likely that this feeling is rooted in the fact that there are a lot of big decisions/happenings that need to take place regarding our move. This morning we decided that if we can extend our lease a month, we'll move at the end of May, as opposed to trying to move our stuff at the end of April and then coming back for Justin to finish the semester. Now we just have to persuade our landlord to go along... But like a domino, once this decision was made, we had to decide how we would get our moving boxes back from Ohio. At this point, we think we might cancel our flight for our March trip and drive instead. But then that led to the thought that we could pack up breakables and stuff we won't need in April/May and bring a load with us when we drive. Once I get on this train of thought I start to feel a little overwhelmed, although I keep telling myself to take it one step at a time.

In other news, it was a pretty nice weekend. We watched The Godfather, so I was able to check another movie off my list. I also watched Junebug and finished reading Kafka on the Shore. Today during lunch, I went to Bed, Bath & Beyond and got a Twinkie Bake Set (it was on super clearance!) because I'm fixated on the idea of making Twinkies at home. I'm not sure why; the Fudge Round has always been my snackcake of choice, but sometimes when these ideas take hold, there's nothing to do but see them through to the end. Unfortunately, I had to order one ingredient (barley malt powder) because I couldn't find a store here that carries it. I'll let you know how they turn out.
