So, it is apparent that my ipod mini is dying. As much as I love Little Blue, I need to have reliable music service and it's time to put him to sleep. Fortunately, he's covered by a product replacment plan and Best Buy will be sending me a gift card with which to purchase said replacement. Unfortunately, the mini has been fazed out, so I must choose whether to replace Little Blue with a nano or cough up some extra cash for a video ipod. Let me know your thoughts. Also, black or white? Why, oh why did they do away with all the pretty colors?
TODAY
It's officially JR's birthday month! If you want to buy him gift, he's got a wish list on Amazon.com. I've planned a bowling birthday party for him, since he's really into bowling at the moment.
YESTERDAY (AND FURTHER BACK)
Wednesday night, I had dinner with MH and KD at an upscale Mexican restaurant called Brioso. The guacamole and fruity margaritas were excellent, but the entrees were a bit bland. I might be willing to give their menu another shot, since the guac was so good. I've become a pretty big guac fan over the fast few years.
In other food news, JK and I were having an extensive chat regarding snack cakes (yes, this is how I spend my time) and it came to light that JK prefers the Swiss Cake Roll to the Ho Ho. I had previously thought that all but the snacking novice was aware that the SCR is a mere second rate imitation of the far superior Ho Ho. Alas, we did not come to a meeting of the minds. Personally, I will always select the Fudge Round before all other snack cakes.

PLEASE NOTE
I will be taking a brief hiatus from blogging, while we travel to KY for V's baptism.

The Ho Ho is an overpriced Swiss Cake Roll wanna-be. It is such a prima-donna in the snack cake world.
Via Swiss Cake Roll! Via Little Debbie!
Yes, but how long does it take to blow one up in the microwave.
