Pouring Out the Water Bottle

Since I'm feeling lazy today, I've copied and pasted part of KD's most recent blog post, which involves the trip home from my birthday dinner last night:

Last night was Angie's big birthday dinner at Bin 36. While waiting for a red line train on the northbound platform of the Grand station after dinner, a woman breezed quickly past us. This is a rare occurrence because I always strive to be in the front car in order to have a shorter walk at the end of the line, so there are rarely people who go farther down the platform than I do. Just moments later, we all heard a rushing water sound echoing through the underground station. The fast-walking woman was at the end of the platform, behind one of the support beams that run from floor to ceiling, and she was not "pouring out her water bottle" as Angie joked was the case. This is something I hope never happens to me again. I can't exactly explain why... because we routinely pee right next to strangers in public bathroom stalls... but I was really grossed out by this. The only redeeming thing is that she did go far away from everyone else to do this. The icing on the cake, though was when we spotted a McDonald's coffee cup sitting on the floor full of liquid. I commented how that person had saved us all a lot of trouble by just putting their drink down in its original state so they wouldn't have to get rid of it by peeing on the platform later. At that point, Angie pointed out that the liquid in the cup looked suspiciously like pee. And after a second look... I think she was right.
