I don't know how it is in your neck of the woods, but here in Chicago we are having record low temperatures. Yesterday, while we were waiting for the bus (this is an unpleasant addition to our commute necessitated by our station closing) we were interviewed by the local news about the weather. We watched last night, but we weren't on. Maybe we aired at lunchtime, or maybe we were not as interesting as the people with no heat.
I am grateful that we have heat, but I do wish we had a little more of it. Our building has gas forced heat and the thermostat is controlled by the landlord. Temperatures have been ranging from the low to mid sixties and we've taken to wearing our robes around the house to keep warm. I've even been going to bed with socks on, which is practically unheard of, since my feet much prefer to be bare.
In other news, JR should be finishing up his last final about now. We're looking forward to a little relaxation :)
