Today was pretty eventful. What started out as a scare (some bleeding) ended up with us getting to see our baby on an ultrasound. Thankfully, it was just a scare and the baby is doing fine. We could see the heartbeat, which was amazing.
I told the doctor that when I look at other people's ultrasound pictures I just see a blob, but on ours I can make out the baby perfectly. So, in case you need some assistance, the dark circular area is the sack and the baby is the bean shaped area inside. The baby's head is towards the right hand side.
From the images, the doctor was able to determine that I am in my ninth week, not my tenth as I previously thought. So, my new expected due date is January 23, 2008.

I think you need to push that due date back about 2 weeks. February 7th is so much cooler than January 23rd.... ; )
