No Mo' Mole

JR wanted me to post a photo, but I like you too much to subject you to that. After a visit to the doctor last week, it was determined that the large mole on JR's back must be removed. Yesterday he trekked up to Skokie to have the procedure done and now sports a three inch row of stitches on his back. (The mole was around the size of a quarter, in case you're wondering.)

This morning, I helped clean and redress it and I must say that it was not nearly as horrifying as I was anticipating, which was good, considering that instructions dictate that I have to clean it with my hands. I was worried that it was going to be a gaping and oozy.

He's feeling a little sore, but was up early this morning to get started on his take-home final again. He turns it in on Thursday and then he's done with law school. Hard to believe, isn't it?

Did he get to keep it? That would look good framed on the living room wall or as a knickknack on one of the knickknack shelves.

No, sadly the mole was sent to the lab for analysis. I tried to tell him that he should put it in a little jar and carry it with him during the graduation ceremony. After all, it made it through law school...
